PGA Employment Services

The PGA of America provides the user-friendly PGA Employment Center which can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by any PGA Professional or Apprentice and can be updated by the employer at any time.

PGA CareerLinks

Job notification service for management positions such as head professional, director of golf, general manager, etc. It is available to all PGA Members and Apprentices in good standing. Update your information on your CareerLinks profile to receive job notifications that match your experience and qualifications.

To update, log in to PGA.org and click on the word Employment to access the PGA Employment Center and click on “Edit CareerLinks Profile.” Be sure to choose “Yes, I want to participate in CareerLinks” and to save your information once completed.

PGA JobFinder

Previously known as PGA CareerNet, PGA JobFinder links interested professionals with available non-management level opportunities (e.g., assistant professional, teaching professional, sales, retail, golf facility support staff, etc.). Employers can post jobs that are viewable to PGA Professionals or to the public, while job seekers can customize searches by job category and PGA Section or state, and set up automatic alerts to receive emails when new job postings are available.

To post and view job postings, log in to PGA.org, visit the Employment tab, and click on PGA JobFinder.

PGA Compensation Survey

As part of the PGA of America's commitment to provide enhanced services to PGA Professionals, the annual PGA Compensation Survey helps provide key compensation data to assist with performance evaluations, contract renewals, staff budgeting and other employer/employee relations; thus allowing PGA Professionals and their employers to know where they stand on the compensation scale in comparison with other Professionals.

Survey responses are confidential and shared in an aggregated format via customized reports that can be filtered by

  • Total income or base salary
  • Average, median, and top percentiles
  • PGA Section or state
  • Job title, facility type, fee structure, number of holes, or job tenure

Class A PGA Professionals may earn up to two (2) MSR credits by completing the compensation survey, which are automatically applied upon its completion along with a summary of your responses available for your records.

PGA PerformanceTrak

PGA PerformanceTrak, in Cooperation with the NGCOA, is an alliance research program that delivers “data and tools” to support PGA Professionals, owners and the industry in managing and evaluating the performance of their facility. Monthly Rounds Played data collection and reporting is one key element of PGA PerformanceTrak. Click here for more information.
